Online Class Update...

OCTOBER 2015 "WHITE WITH A TWIST" CHALLENGE...

Welcome to our October "White with a Twist" Rainbow Challenge....

So the challenge is to use ALL the colours(or shades of the colours) in this photo prompt:
Red,Orange/Yellow, Lime/Green and Blue/Aqua.

and
Create a layout inspired by ALL the colours in this photo and you MUST use at least one piece of chipboard. (as Scrapping Outback is known for all its chipboard)

You must use WHITE combined with the colours above. You can use printed paper as long as these colours are the main focus of the paper. There can be other colours on the printed paper, but not too much to take away from the colours in the inspiration picture.

You can use anything to create these colours like mists, inks or paints.

You can use a small amount of black/brown just for a little stamping, inking, journaling or just as a small accessory, however it is NOT to be the main focus of your layout UNLESS it is a main colour in the inspiration photo.

You can use as little or a lot of each colour, but EVERY colour or similar shade of that colour in the picture MUST be used. You can use varied shades of the colours - it depends on the inspiration that you get from the picture.

Rules:
Create a layout following the above criteria, then follow the instructions below....

After you have created a LO for the challenge please upload it to your blog, online gallery or Facebook page -  make sure you mention us and link back to our blog challenge.  Then add your DIRECT challenge link to us using the Mister Linky on the right hand side of our BLOG.

First up we have this gorgeous layout created by

Products used:
WOW Leafy Vine (small),
WOW Messy Square Frames
Karen's Tip:
If you have to paint a second or third coat to cover your chipboard, make sure you leave it to dry well before applying the next layer and it is a good idea to sand away any bumps before painting again. You can speed up drying with a heat gun or even leave it out in the sun but to get the best result, you should give it time to dry naturally.
Our next sample is by Rachelle Minett.
Yes, the Boss lady has finally had a chance to create a sample layout for you :)
 Products Used:
Rachelle's Tip:
Spray your cardstock with water first, then dab your Lindy's stamp Gang mists over the top using the Lindy's Stamp Gang daubers attached to the top instead of the usual sprayer. This helps with blending and stops any over spray. Move the cardstock around a little to move the colours then dab off any excess fluid with a tissue.
Our 3rd sample is by the very talented
Marie Mazz Cairns - our texture guru...
