DECEMBER 2015 "White with a Twist" Challenge...

Welcome to our December 2015 "White with a Twist" Challenge..
The challenge is to use all the colours as seen in this inspiration photo...
Pale pink and Lemon/orange 
AND
Create a layout inspired by ALL the colours in this photo and you MUST USE AT LEAST ONE PIECE OF CHIPBOARD (as Scrapping Outback is known for ALL its Chippie)
You must use White combined with the colours in the above photo. You can use printed paper as long as these colours are the main focus of the paper. There can be other colours on the paper, bit not too much so that it takes away from the colours in the inspiration photo.
You can use anything the create these colours like mists, inks and paints.
You can use a small amount of black/brown for a little stamping, inking, journaling or just small accent, however it is NOT to be the main focus of your layout UNLESS it is one of the main colours in the inspiration photo.
You can use as little or a lot of each colour, but EVERY colour or similar shade of colour MUST be used. You can use varied shades of the colours as in depends on the device you are viewing the image on as to what shades you see. 
RULES: 
Create a layout following the above criteria then simply follow the instructions below.
  After you have created your layout for the challenge simply upload it to your BLOG, Online Gallery or Facebook page (make sure your facebook page is open for all to view, otherwise we cant see it) - Make sure you mention Scrapping Outback and link your image/post back to our challenge :)
Then add your DIRECT challenge link to us using the "Mr Linky" application on the right hand side of our BLOG.

Once of have done the above and if you are on FB, simply go to the Scrapping Outback Facebook page and let us know that you have entered our challenge - you can link directly back to your own Blog or FB page as well so we can ALL go and check out your challenge entry.

Karens Tip: To give a plain piece of white cardstock some colour randomly paint in some colours around the edge using 
gelatoes or ink sprays and then stencil some patterns with
 texture paste.

NOVEMBER 2015 "WHITE WITH A TWIST" CHALLENGE...


Welcome to our November "White with a Twist" Halloween inspired Challenge....
(You don't have to use a Halloween theme - it just seemed appropriate 
for this time of the year)
 
So the challenge is to use ALL the colours(or shades of the colours) in this photo prompt:
Purple, Lime/yellow and black


and


Create a layout inspired by ALL the colours in this photo and you MUST use at least one piece of chipboard. (as Scrapping Outback is known for all its chipboard)

Karen's Tip:
If you would like to cover your chipboard with paper or fabric, you can stick it right on to wet gesso. Gesso works really well as a glue and is more permanent than any of the glue sticks or bottled glue you can buy.

Rachelle's Tip:  Spray mist onto plastic sheet first, spray lightly with water, then place cardstock on top to transfer the colour from the plastic to the cardstock
